Hi, I would like to find a good Chinese name 😛
My Western name is Jonatan Nys (the original form of this name is Jonathan)
My brother already has a Chinese name 倪凯.
I hope you can help me find a name now 🙂
Greets.
Hello Jonatan,
How about 倪骏? It’s common for siblings to share a common character. This way the second character matches your name, while still having a cool meaning!
My first name is Roy – when I was in China a few years ago I was given the name 儒意 (ru2yi4). This is quite a good transliteration but also has a prestigious meaning in its own right (Confucian). Needless to say I am very proud of it.
Yes I find the best combination is when you can combine the transliteration with a good meaning. Usually you have to choose between one or the other.
In the simplified transcript, you have “那 Adam 的中文名字叫什麼”… it should be “那 Adam 的中文名字叫什么“.
Thanks – should be fixed now.
