Hi, I just had a quick pronunciation question.
Whenever I hear Kirin say the “ao” sound, to me it sounds more like “au”.
Am I just hearing things or is this a Taiwanese Mandarin accent?
Hi Justin,
It’s possible that different regions may pronounce it differently. The Taiwan accent is similar to the accent used in Shanghai and other southern regions of China.
Mrs Wang is very hospitable, everyone likes to go to her house
In this vocabulary exercise “her house” can only be answered as “their house”. Correct me if I am wrong
Good point – I’ve removed the extra men / 们 / 們 so it should translate properly now. Thanks!
